Chip, Chip Hooray! Chocolate Treats Worth Making at Home

Hey Reader,

I don’t know if you celebrate those quirky food holidays, but I love using them as a reason to indulge. May 15 is National Chocolate Chip Day, and I’m not about to let that go by without baking something sweet.

These recipes are easy, and there's just something about warm and gooey chocolate chips that remind me of the best parts of childhood.

What's your go to chocolate treat?

When the craving hits but you don’t want to turn on the oven, this Microwave Chocolate Chip Cookie is the way to go. It’s gooey in the middle, crisp around the edges, and ready in just a couple minutes.

Chocolate chips for breakfast? Why not? My family loves these Double Chocolate Muffins that are rich but still technically breakfast. They’ve got cocoa in the batter, plenty of chocolate chips, and you can grab one and go.

If eating cookie dough is your thing (same), these Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles are perfect. No eggs, no baking, and shhh you can skip dipping them in chocolate if you want to keep it even easier.

The Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie is what I make when I want something amazing that I can make without dirtying an extra bowl. It’s crispy, chewy, and best eaten with a spoon while still warm.

The best treats are the ones made with a little extra love (and plenty of chocolate chips). Which recipe will you try first?

Happy Cooking,
Michelle
